Chiusa Sclafani

South of Palermo about about 50 kilometres (31 mi) is the Mountain Village of Chiusa Sclafani [ˈkjuːza ˈsklaːfani]. This is a quiet little village of about 2,900 people, sits at 658 m (2,160 ft) in elevation. A good degree of redevelopment done has been done in the village and area. This is a video of the area.

The property is on a hill side and consists of two buildings which are merged into a large (340sqm, 3,660sqft) structure that has 3 apartments, 2 public meeting spaces and the top floor which has the traditional kitchen space and a north facing covered terrace. Due to it’s location in a quiet mountain village, it has significant potential for both Eco and Senior tourism. One of the largest Nature Reserves in Sicily is just a few meters southeast of the town. This property can qualify for several of the Italian Government’s Investment Incentive programs such as Environmental, Tourism, and Rural Village.
